Fungistat is a broad spectrum contact fungicide with proven efficacy against powdery mildew and grey mold (Botrytis cinerea) in grapes, tomato and pepper crops.
Biofungitek has developed proprietary technology leading to the identification of select chemical compounds that control the growth and development of pathogenic fungi.
Biofungitek offers a service to improve commercial fungicide formulations.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Biofungitek's technical staff has the capability to establish the mechanism of action of antifungal active substances. The experimental platform of Aspergillus nidulans is preferred for this task, although Saccharomyces cerevisiae may also be used.
SPORULATION
Biofungitek provides assistance in maximizing the spore output of industrially important strains.
IN VITRO ASSAYS
Biofungitek has laboratory facilities geared for semi-automated in vitro high throughput screening (HTS) of active agent libraries and strain collections.
